We uses a variety of CO 2 Lasers to create text and/or images on a wide variety of material and objects. The laser literally burns an impression into the surface of the material being marked. Until recently, a laser could not be used on any bright shiny metal surface. The beam was reflected away from the surface. However, a new chemical coating agent has been developed which when struck by the laser beam creates a chemical bonding effect with the metal allowing the engraving or etching of many metals. We have successfully cut images and words into glass, paper, plastic folders, plastic laminates, leather, wood, plastic notebooks, marble and granite and even a sword blade and i-pod. The current new product is  a floor / wall tile, with a laser sensitive chemical layer embedded in the tile, which allows the placing of images on the tile without degrading the surface of the tile. This allows the creation of large murals for entry ways, halls, kitchens, and baths. Normal ceramic tiles can be engraved also. The major advantage of Laser Etching is that small numbers of items can be etched at minimal cost rather then having to buy hundreds to get reasonable prices. What you choose to personalize is limited to your imagination, as long as it is inanimate.

Indoor and outdoor signage as well as as awards and personalized gifts can be made with the laser.  Again, this technique, as opposed to screen printing allows individual items to be imprinted at minimal price ($10.00 and up). Photos are cut into marble and other smooth contrasting  material with wonderful results and provide unique memorabilia.
